A quick aside of a promotional nature – the ebook version of Sex and Bowls and Rock and Roll is available free of charge now for a limited period (probably just ’til the end of next week). Thank you to HarperCollins for arranging that.

So if you want something to read on your hols, or know somebody who might want something to read on their hols, or are just one of these people that likes something for nothing then your best bet is:

Kindle version (via Amazon)

Version for your iPad/iPod/iThing via iTunes

I’m told that people overseas still have to pay full whack – booooooooooo.

I’ve got the book already, thank you, dear heart. And splendidly entertaining it is.

Uh-huh. Like we don’t know that you personally insisted on that condition, and why. Just as well I don’t own any Kindles or i-Thingies.

Mind you, this is North Carolina we’re talking about. Around here you’re lucky if you own shoes. “Thank God for Alabama”, we say. And in Alabama they say “Thank God for Norfolk”…

    Woo, free stuff!

So far (P1) I haven’t noticed any recycled blog posts from here either (or maybe my memory is worse than I thought).

Don’t think this makes up for the months of online emptiness blogwise though. (As a bone-fide blog reader, I have an overinflated sense of entitlement).

Now that you’re a billionaire author and in no need of money, I look forward to a more continuous supply of free stuff. Thanks.

I assume the sprog formerly known as Servalan is too sensible to step into your shoes.

    Hullo RedGrittyBrick!!!

P1 is totally original, although it goes downhill from there.

I am sort of doing a sporadic thing here when I feel the urge. Sort of ‘continuously sporadic’ if that helps.

Aah, I see you’ve returned. Did you get caught in traffic or something? I gave up checking to see whether you were back some time ago, as you can see. Welcome back.
